You've Been Breached, Now What? Incident Response for the Smaller Organization

A data breach can impact organizations on a multitude of levels and often, smaller organizations find themselves unprepared. Fresh off conducting the first Incident Response exercise at New Hampshire Charitable Foundation, David will use this insight talk to share strategies and insights for smaller organizations seeking greater preparedness in the face of an inevitable incident.

David Goodman is the Director of Information Services at the New Hampshire Charitable Foundation where he oversees a hybrid network of local and cloud computing for the Foundation. He has over 30 years’ experience in technology and has worked for financial, technical and nonprofit organizations. Before joining the Foundation, David was the Manager of Crisis Planning for a nonprofit student loan organization that serviced Federal student loans as a government contractor. During his 18 year tenure, he implemented, managed and evolved plans for incident response, disaster recovery, business continuity and crisis communication that were in compliance with NIST SP 800-53. Outside of technology, David is interested in graphic novels, film and theater.
